Q. How do I register for one of your public seminars?

We offer several ways in which you can register for our seminars: web, phone, fax, or mail. Register online by clicking the “Register” link next to the class of your choice. To register by phone, call us at (919) 834-3722 or toll free at (800) 637-0120 during our normal business hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm Eastern Time (feel free to leave us a voicemail if you reach us after hours). You may also send written registration request by fax to (919) 836-1745 or (919) 834-3650, or by mail to Marshall Institute, Inc., Attn: Registrar, 1800 Tillery Place, Suite i, Raleigh, North Carolina 27604, USA.

Q. Is there a deadline to register?

No. However, we like to know if you plan to attend at least 2 weeks before the start of the seminar so that we can ensure adequate quantities of training materials are sent to the training location and plans have been made to accommodate the number of students in the class.

Q. What is your payment policy?

We accept company checks, credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), purchase orders (from companies in the US and Canada for amounts $299 and greater), and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)/Wire Transfers. We require a credit card as payment from companies outside the United States and Canada. Payment is due 10 business days prior to the event. Credit card payments will be processed upon receipt. If you register within 2 weeks of the event, we prefer a credit card as your method of payment.

Q. Do you offer group discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts for groups of 2 or more as follows:
2-4 registrations = $100 off each registration (does not apply to webinars)
5+ registrations = consider a Team Training Pass!

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel your registration up until two weeks prior to the event to receive a full refund.
If you must cancel or transfer within the two weeks prior, payment is still due and we can apply it towards any of our seminars, webinars, or conferences within one year, but a refund is not available.
Marshall Institute will provide at least two weeks notice in the event we must cancel an event for which you are registered, plus give you $100 off another seminar of your choice. You will have the option your payment being refunded in full or applied to another registration. We regret we cannot be responsible for non-refundable travel arrangements.

Remaining days run from 8am (with coffee and refreshments beginning at 7:30am) to 4pm. Generally we try to finish the last day of class a bit early to accommodate everyone’s travel schedules, but plan to be in class until 4pm.

Q. Is lunch included in the registration fees?

Yes. Registration fees include coffee and refreshments each morning, plus a networking lunch each day. Other refreshments and snacks may also be provided throughout the day.

Q. What if I have special dietary requirements?

Please contact us at least 1 week in advance of the seminar if you have any food allergies/intolerances/restrictions or special dietary needs. Although we select food items we hope everyone will enjoy, we realize that some individuals have dietary restrictions and food allergies which may prevent them from eating these selections. We will do our best to accommodate and make alternative food selections for those who notified us in advance. Last minute changes or substitutions to the standard selections may not be possible. Please make alternative meal arrangements if you have severe, multiple, or very specific dietary restrictions, as our food and beverage options may not sufficiently meet your needs. Because the focus is on food allergies, we cannot always guarantee requests such as low-fat, low-salt, low-carb, sugar-free, etc.

Q. Will I receive a certificate for attending your seminar?

Yes. The instructor will award you a Certificate of Accomplishment on the last day of class.

Q. What is the dress code for your seminars?

Business casual or casual attire is appropriate for all of our seminars. We recommend that you dress in layers and bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions in case the room temperature is not comfortable for you.
