Vincent Quarles

Senior Consultant

Vincent Quarles has a twenty-two year record of successes in the broad base aspects of manufacturing, which include Process Engineering, Customer Service, Production Management, Internal Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Lean Initiatives in Printed Circuit Board Assembly Manufacturing, Electronic Systems Integration, and the fabrication of Aluminum Product for Aerospace/High Strength applications with two world class companies. Vincent has an expansive knowledge of high volume manufacturing, quality management, lean manufacturing, and supplier quality management. He has a solid working knowledge of ASM Aerospace specifications (AS9100) and guidelines. He has been highly regarded throughout his career for outstanding professionalism, aggressive work ethics, no nonsense approaches to sustainable solutions and outstanding productivity in all job assignments.

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer for Kaiser Aluminum, Vincent was responsible for facilitating and managing high-level improvement efforts (3P Events, Value Stream Improvement, Cost Reductions, etc.) utilizing lean initiatives, tools and techniques. He facilitated and directed the facility’s Total Productive Maintenance/Reliability Program to improve equipment uptime, reliability, OEE, MTBF rates, and maintenance practices. He also developed value stream simulation modeling for capacity planning purposes, and the shop floor controls automating WIP management.

Vincent Quarles earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and then served four years in the US Military. His early experiences, first as a Process Engineer and then a Supervisor gave him front line experience in details of manufacturing Circuit Printed boards and Cable Assembly builds. As Production Manager and Customer Service Manager, he acquired the skills to manage and direct 7 supervisors and 300 employees while also fostering good business relations, increasing customer satisfaction, and exceeding expectations. As a Quality Engineer, he improved productivity by optimizing department staffing and work scheduling, and he facilitated all Kaizen improvement events targeting areas of waste, performance and quality.

Mr. Quarles has proven to be a natural leader, demonstrating superb communication talents with diverse groups at all functional levels. His work philosophy centers around always being “Best in Class” through the proper management and execution of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.
